Default glasspacks?

Do any of you guys know if those cherry bomb glasspacks from Kragen or Autozone are any good? How do they compare to the Dynomax Thrush glasspacks from Summitt, Jegs, NOPI, etc.?

I currently have the 28 inch Dynomax Thrush glasspack on my car and its giving me some metallic noise problem that I, nor the muffler shop could figure out so I was thinking that I should replace the one I just got.

I have no CAT, so I'm using the glasspack to quiet the sound down 2.5 inch piping and Magnaflow striaght through muffler.

I doubt that the cheap cherrybomb style glasspack would last very long... Hence the cheap price tag.

Glasspacks like cherrybombs are totally white trash.
They're more at home on a Silverado or IROC.

or on a 79 ford econoline, lol, thats what my buddy has.
but I dont think that the cheap glasspacks are nearly as good as brand name ones, he had a no-name one off ebay for a while, but it lasted maybe a year, then he ended up getting a dynomax and it lasted like 5 years and its still going.

I have the Dynomax Thrush glasspack and considering its 28 inches long, it may be causing some metallic noises on my CRX. It barely fits and is very close to my shift linkage, but when banged on my exhaust it doesn't hit/rub at all.

Maybe I will just consider getting a 18 inch resonator from the local muffler shop that I go to...
