Default Lowes gearing question.

I have never been to Lowes before so I need some advice. In our Civic H1 car we currently have the ATS 4.929 Final Drive Installed. The tranny is a SIR2 (Y21). Tires are 205-5-15 (23 inch diameter). Redline is ~9400.

Gear ratios are:

1st - 3.307
2nd - 2.105
3rd - 1.458
4th - 1.107
5th - 0.848
Final Gear - 4.929

I was using this gear calculator to determine top speed:

http://www.autocrossing.com/cgi-bin/gearcalc.cgi

According to this calculator we would top out at: 153.9 mph

Is this correct? Will this gearing be okay at Lowes? I might be able to swap to an ITR tranny with a 4.7 Final Drive.

Thanks ... see you guys down there.

Do you have a dyno of your powercurve?

Unless you have insano hp, that's enough gearing.

I was bumping 140 in the H3 car. I think Jack was close to 150 but I don't really remember.

I would *think* 153 would be fine.
