Default Motor swap

ok to my luck my best friend just bought a 89 crx si and is going to swap the motor out of he hatch(b18c1 supercharged) drop a b18c5 in the hatch and give me his si motor so i'm going to swap it, but what i wannna do to that motor puzzles me i want to give it a little boost as in turbo. i want a small turbo that spools fast and will give me a nice hp jump. i've heard the best thing to do is peice on together my self by turbo from here, piping from there, manifold from there etc etc........... but i don't have all the money in the world so is there a affordable sohc small turbo kit around that i can just slap on themotor (it has stock internals) and be happy for a while?????

Greddy makes a kit for the the d16z6 and y8 motors, im sure itll work on your motor too though. As far as i can tell it comes with Everything you need, except for an intercooler (50-100 bucks) but the kit costs 1500 bucks. Its pretty much the cheapest kit ive seen around though. If u wanna build your own kit you can do it for much cheaper, check out homemadeturbo.com.
