The gains are REALLY GOOD
vtec sounds sweeeeeeet
the installation was pretty smooth....Had to go buy longer bolts for the header to cat connection.

The gains feel like adding an AEM CAI to a stock motor. I am still using my stock exhuast because fedex is late 4 days on my APEX N1...Once I get that on, I bet the gains will be better. Some pictures will be posted on my site soon.

get a gasket for the cat to B pipe on the N1 or u will have a leak like me! they dont match up right.

I'm not sure if im leaking or rattling...hard to hear, but the noise i hear is only from 4000-6000, pretty much in vtec.....sounds like rattling tho.

When a cat/exhuast leaks, does it have that "fffffffffffffffffffff,fffffffffffffffffffffffff,f fffffffffffffffff !!!!!!!!!" sound all the time? or just some rpms?

 

mostly when you downshift and ride the motor (not much brakes) If you know what I mean!

i have a really bad sense of smell. But i think i do smell something in different in the car. It smelled like the new carsound cat that i bought when it was in the box...

I feel the gains from 4000 up....I htink i lost some low end tho. gonna test drive it again tomorrow. i'm beat.

 

Minty, Fedex is ate again with the exhaust!! Dam them! As I remember, you told me they were gonna deliver it on Monday.

 

grrrrrrrrrrrr, looks like fed ex is giving me more BS.
They started a thing called a tracer last night to find out where it is. Turns out they put a select date of delivery on it, which was never authorized by me or the seller. So I guess it has just been sitting in the Fedex building. I'm gonna complain and get my money back from the shipping. I talked to them every day since last friday, and now its tuesday, and they finally tell me there's a select date thing on it.
