Default antenna help

my antenna is stuck in the up position. i can still hear the motor running but nothing will happen. can somone help me with this minor problem. thanks

Sounds like the plastic chord of your antenna mast is broken. Just get a replacement mast from eBay for $25 and change out the masts.

that happened to me and i just pushed the antenna down halfway so it looks a lot better now and i took the motor out so it jsut stays there and it looks good and i get great reception still.

well i cant push my antenna down. i could careless about it working. i dont even listen to the radio most of the time its my cd's and the rest of the time i just listen to my car. so can i just open up where my antenna comes down and pull it down and take the motor out?

If you don't listen to the antenna much, you could just do a S2K antenna conversion. To remove the motor, you just need to open up the trunk lining and remove it.

Mine did the same. I found it to be a nice excuse to buy a S2000 antenna. There are kits and such ranging from $16-$90.
I bought the whole thing with amplifier from Honda for $90.00
