You are so lucky! You ran the course on Sunday's event right?
Me and 2 other ITRs and one S2000 from R-speed went all the way from New York to get there on Saturday. We had one session of run, then it rained out the whole event after 12pm and the whole thing was cancelled!!...and no compensation.
What a great way to spend $225!!

Oh BTW. I heard that one of the PDA staff that used to runs a CW ITR but got stolen recently....
He gives out words that he's selling a set of Volk TE37 with BFGoodrich tires that ran for two seasons for $250. Is this true?

I was one of the other R's out there. I was very surprised at how good ITR brakes are !! Also, I have new respect for NASCAR drivers, ovals are scary !!!! I was going slow at 125mph and that little dip at the apex of the oval and the skids marks into the wall freaked me out each lap !! Too bad it rained and we only got about 7 laps or so. Oh well, still had fun. Wish I had more fun, though. Oh, I was also on street tires (Kumho's); my race tire Kumho's are showing a little cord and I decided not to bring them. Next time, I will sign up for the North/south course. The long course is fun for the high speeds, but I like the twist and turns of the infield better.

Yup, I ran on Sunday ... we totally lucked out. We had a some fog in the morning & a few drops of rain ... but that's all. I ran 4 sessions, about 120 miles. I was hitting about 137 on the back stretch ... but I would agree that the in-field section is much more fun!

Hey AdamITR, where did you get that bra for your car? It looks great with the yellow. Mine is black but I still think I want that one. I saw 2 others before and they looked like crap. What brand and how much is yours? Thanks.

Xerzex

The Bra is made by Acura (has the Type R logo) Your dealership will be able to get one for you. Price is around $120.

Chris ... nice meeting you at Pocono. Yes, I will be attending the rest of PDA's events ... but, I'm on the wait list for Limerock. Also, that black S2000 with the Instructor was hella fast! He was on my tail through the bank turn at about 115mph ... then he passed me too.

Those skid marks were there from the beginning. Most likely some nascar hit. Nascar just had the Pocono 500 about two-three weeks ago.

Did u see the BIG turbo on that Porsche. It was so weird, the turbo was the exhaust pipe !! Since with rear engine, not that much exhaust piping is needed. I think it didn't have a muffler. When i think about it, the turbo was the muffler and exhaust pipe ! (not exactly, but it was placed at the end of the pipe).

i will honestly say that I like Limerock better than the long course at Pocono. I have never done north or south course at Pocono, but it is probably more fun (but slower) than the long course. I just do not like the fact that if you lose it on the oval the only thing slowing you down is the wall ! I mean, there are definitely chances to eat it at Limerock, but I still felt safer at Limerock. This is the main reason i want to buy a Miata or a CRX or Civic Hybrid. If I stuff one of them in the wall, I only loose the purchase price of the car ($5K-$7K) as opposed to the ITR ($20K-25K).

What kind of exhaust is that? It sounds like a race car.

JDM DC Header, Godspeed Testpipe, 18" section of 2.5" S.S. Piping, Coast Fabrication (Indy Light Car) exhaust. Empties under the car, hangs from the B-Pipe Hangers. John at Hytech welded it for me. Here's a pic:

Here's another in-car Video: 3.7MB, Quicktime, First Session of the day.
