I have a brand new AEM CAI, the newest one out. Still new in the box. If you are interested I can sell it to you for $200, about $209 with shipping and handling. You cant find it cheaper, if you do let me know. If you are interested please let me know. I know this sounds like a classified add, but its more for only you to see since you made the forum. You cant get a good CAI for less. Maybe INJEN, but they may be more than 175 also. let me know asap. thanks. I may be able to find you one for less through my sponsorship so let me know, if i can get it that way it would be about $188 which is insanely good for a brand new CAI. thanks

Please try and get me one for about $188 that would be nice... Its just I dont realy think anything over $200 is real reasonable just for a CAI, But I just might be a cheap skate also so...

I think all ep3s should use it so u know who drives what so we dont get confused when people talk about things. anyways ill change it soon when i get a new one. but anyways if anyone wants to buy my intake let me know, see the posts above. take care

What's the difference between a Cold Air Intake and a Short Ram Intake? Other than the physical differences, why are there two kinds? An explanation would be appreciated.

That shows how little you know. Mugen will give you better throttle response, and better power throughout the power band. AEM is really only a good system in the upper power band, and doesn't have as good as a throttle response as the Mugen. Like with anything in life, you pay for what you get Go to the ITR forums and look where they have done Intake tests. You'll see constantly the Mugen has a better power curve, and is praised for it's great throttle response. Go with the Mugen and you won't be dissapointed, that is what i am getting for my CTR

Thanks for those prices/numbers. Those are pretty good for new stuff.

I keep seeing AEM short ram's on eBay/clubrsx for under $75, if you're willing
to go used. The guys with injen's don't seem to want to let them go for under
$100.

Do you have some independant tests you'd like to share or did you gather your "research" from magazines.

Personally, you just sound like a JDM ***** and not someone interested in performance.

BTW - It's "You get what you pay for." not "you pay for what you get". I would hope you pay for it, otherwise, it's stealing.
