Looks like the racing line at Road Atlanta turns 3 and 5.

I like the line at Road Atlanta that goes from turn 3 to the esses, and skips turn 4!

I wish I could find the pic of John Wilding's ITA Integra from the ARRC a couple of years ago. He and Boustani were battling for 2nd place and Boustani had thrown so much red dirt on the front of that Integra that he could barely see. The entire front of that white car was Georgia Clay Red.
It was great fun to watch.

People actually count the corners at VIR? Which one is 13?

Its the "corner" before the entry to rollercoaster (14/14a) with the patch of dark pavement on it... you can go straight thorough 11-13, if that is a good reference point.

Looks to me like that turn needs those little poles they sometimes put up on the inside of the curbing.

I like hitting the poles in turn 9 at CMP with my right side mirror.

I've confirmed that that's my buddy Brian in the second car there. If that is the corner at PIR that I think (coming on to the back side?), I got black-flagged for doing the same thing at a regional once. The steward told me it was "dangerous" and I suggested that, when I paid my entry fee, I had "rented the whole track." (Stolen line from another NW Renault racer from the '80s.)

You're right Kurt. Old T5 new T8.

I sometimes put two wheels off earlier...over the big gator teeth.

Stevie Wonder and South Bend. If your left wheels aren't in the dirt, turn earlier next time.
