if your talkin about 2000 spec n1's, i'd go with the n1's. but if your talking about 99 spec and i wouldn't say they are good for "all out" racing, more of a aggressive street sus.

ot:do you have a pic of your 4runner? just curious to see a diesel one

What do you mean 2000 or 99 N1? Is the 2000 the latest version? I am buying them brand new so I´m guessing is the latest version.

The 4 Runner is the same all the way around but the engine is a 3.0 turbo diesel.

Check the version specs carefully. Maybe the reason they are offered is that they are old shelf stock or out of date.

the 2000 spec was made a lot better then the 99 spec. it will say at the bottom of the coilover where the apex sticker is.

I had the 99 spec and they are way more aggressive than a street susp. if i tightened them up the were unbareable on anything less than a perfct road. i also know a certain somebody that cracked their control arms with them. i dont think a street susp. would do that

I ahve a set on Apexi N1's 99 spec and I am thinking of getting something thats not so harsh...

The only difference that I could actually find was that the 99's came with the old style pillow ball mounts and the 00 spec came with silver moutns that allowed more travel.

I also have extra springs that I ordered from APexi if anyone is interested in picking up a good deal on these. THey would come with everything. Including new silver pillowball mounts.

i believe the 99 spec N1's had a smaller piston and 00 was when they upgraded the piston for durability and more resolution in dampening....

and you can't really tellt he effectiveness of suspension just by how firm it is
