Yesterday a couple buddies and I installed my brand new Clutchmasters Stage 3 Clutch and Fidanze 7.5lb flywheel on my LS... I thought it would be nice and stiff the way I want it to be, but it is really really soft... I have to learn how to drive on a clutch this soft thats how bad it is... I know a guy who has teh same clutch and his is stiffer than mine... I did bleed it to make sure no air was in it....

What could it be? there is only about 30.0km on it... will it stiffen up when it gets broken in more? What else could teh problem be? Should I try bleeding it yet again?

Any help would be appreciated... thanks in advance...

 

I had a friend of mine's do the same thing in his Si. It was a clutchnet 6 puck. The pressure plate was soft as hell at first. But, we re-bled it after a week, and it gradually stiffened up. I don't know if yours will do the same, but it worth a shot.

what pressure plate are you using?

 

probably needs to be rebled... sounds like your main culprit

 

mine got stiffer after 500 miles

 

My CM stage 3 was very soft for about 400 miles. Now, pedal feels like stock but it''s very grippy. Also, cold stars in 2nd are chattery.
