accord v6 intake problem... hellppp plzzzzzz=)
my friend just got a short ram intake for his 99 accord v6. we were tryin 2 put it in the other day, but there seems 2 b to mass airflow sensors connected to the stock intake.... and the short ram only comes with one hole for an airflow sensor... any1 ever put in a short ram or cai in their v6? howd u do it?
um, hondas dont have maf sensors, and that hole is for the tube from the crankcase that recycles crankcase blowby gases
oh.... so what should i do? theres two holes in the stock intake and only 1 in the short ram....
leave the hole open and let gases run around in my hood?

To this very day I have wondered about how I was supposed to setup my CAI in my 94 Accord EX. The CAI had one port for the recycling of blow by gases in the valve cover. But there was a bunch of other units attached to factory intake. Can anyone tell me what they did with the vacuum units. Mine just hung inside the engine bay and patched with T connectors. I don't really know if I was doing any harm to performance with disconnecting of any of these lines and improperly putting them together again. If anyone knows, to a moderate degree, how it should be installed for an Accord application please reply to this post.
You probably got an intake for a 95-97 V6 Accord. The factory intake for my 96 V6 Accord has only one crankcase breather tube. The intake I bought had two port holes. I realized they sent me an intake for a 98-on V6 Accord, but I plugged one of the holes and used it anyway...it still fits.
