Default Does anyone have any experience with a turboed D16Z6?

I am looking into going turbo with my D16Z6. I know that Greddy makes a kit, which I have found to be the most popular for this particular engine. What needs to be done in order to install the turbo kit. What I mean by this is do you have to lower the compression of the engine to retain reliability, or are the factory internals o/k for this set up? Also, what are your exact power gains from this, and is there any noticable turbo lag. I would think, since the turbo is so small, that not lowering the compression would be o/k, but I would like to know from people's real life experiences with this set up. Thanks in advance for any info.
