Default exhaust problem: help needed...

I recently got a 28 in. glasspack installed on my CRX. 2.5 in piping all the way to a MagnaFlow straight through muffler. I have no CAT, so in sequential order is my header, glasspack, 2.5 piping, and my muffler.

The problem is ever since I got my glasspack installed, at freeway speed when I'm on it with the gas, a SSSSHHHHHHHHHHH sound would occur to what it seems like its coming from is the front right wheel area somewhere. If I'm driving on the streets at moderate speed and let off the gas without putting my car in neutral, the SSSSSHHHHHHHHH sound would occur again.

I took it to my local mechanic since I couldn't figure it out and he told me it is a exhaust problem and referred me back to the muffler shop that I had my glasspack installed at. We lifted my car up and the muffler shop verified that nothing under my car was hitting anything. We shook the piping and made sure nothing was hitting/scraping anything. The guy at the muffler shop told me its not an exhaust problem, otherwise there would be marks showing on parts of my exhaust that was hitting.

I think for sure it has to deal with the ehxaust, but I'm not sure what could cause the SSSSSSHHHHHHH sound. It sounds to me that the sound is coming from the front right wheel area. There is nothing wrong with my wheel or anything as I have checked it thoroughly. Ever since I got the glasspack installed, 3 days after it started to make that SSSSHHHH noise all of a sudden.

Do any of you guys might know what the problem could be and what I should I do to correct it?

Sounds to me like blowback. 2.5 inch piping with no cat could be causing a backpressure problem.

Do you have stock motor? Any other mods?

Yeah when your exhaust makes a hissing noise it's usually because of a restriction in the exhaust. At our school my friends 280z would hiss when he would gun it and when the instructor cut out the piece that had a severe dent and welded in a new piece it went away. Did you put the 2.5 inch exhaust at the same time as the glass pack and if so is it press bent? If not maybe when that guy welded in the glass pack he got a lot of weld inside the piping itself and thats causing the hissing. Thats all I can think of.

I already had the 2.5 inch exhaust in before I got the glasspack and the guy just welded the glasspack in for me...

Is it like a metallic rattling sound? Could be heat shield related. Have someone look under the car while you try and reproduce the conditions when the sound occurs.
