Installed new plugs/wires and now have white smoke!
'88 CRX Si - stock motor
Just great! I installed new spark plugs and wires. The wires are OEM honda and the spark plugs are the denso ones recommended in the manual.
NO clue what I did wrong but I plan to drive the car tonight. Hopefully it will be ok. The car is a lot more lively due to the new plugs and wires.
Also changed the valve cover gasket and spark plug gaskets.
White smoke emerged from my exhaust right when I started the car. From then on, it smokes more as the rpm's climb.
The car ran fine before the tuneup and no smoking before.

when you changed the gasket, make sure you have the spark plug hole grommets so that no oil creeps into the spark plug area.
A little smoke at high rpms is normal due to age because of the headgasket.
But if it is smoking, you must of did something wrong.
A car just doesn't smoke right away
