Default Opinions on TORNADO Air

It's supposed to increase fuel economy as well as horsepower? Anyone tried this?

i've read and heard nothing good from this product. i believe it restricts airflow rather than trying to increase it.

well, it would seem that it would dirrect the air travel in a circular patern, however remember that the throttle plate will basically straighten the air back out.

and if you have a mustang, or something else that runs with a MAF, it will screw that all up. a MAF needs calm steady air to get a proper reading, even putting a KN filter on it can disrupt it!

anyway, these things are just like splitfire expensive crap.

Ya, I wasn't planning on getting one, but was just wondering if these people were full of BS. I've just never seen this commercial in Canada (I'm in Cali right now).

I need to think of a BS idea and makes millions too!

on the topic of scaming gas 'savers', has anyone seen the
fuel saver that attatches to your fuel line ( a yellow box )
that is supposed to clean the incoming fuel of something.
i can't remember what, but they made it sound _very_
scientific.

http://216.142.45.13/fuelsaver
seems to be down, but thats what i bookmarked.

Also..

any thoughts on this..

http://www.electricsupercharger.com/.../Autoframe.htm

claims to be an electric supercharger that adds 1 psi of boost. good
for 5-15 hp. concept seems solid, but do they pull it off?

total crap. this thing has been around for a while...i guess suckers keep buying it.
i read one report where when they opened the intake up after install and driving, the thing was actually turned sideways, restricting a huge percentage of the total air flow.

Ha! I did a paper on that thing a couple of years back for one of my classes. It's complete BS. Car and Driver exposed it during a long-term 540i test a while back too.

Can I safely say that ZMAX is also included in this list of BS products? or does that one actually work...
