ITR/EP3 owners?
I noticed that a lot of ITR owners are starting to pick up EP3s. Wondering about how well the EP3 handles in comparision to the ITR. Can it hold it's own? Does it get blown away? Or is it a good handling DD type car?
My DD camaro is about to die (155k miles) and I need a new daily ride.
TIA, Jin

It's nooo TYPE-R! I drive mine daily and have become bored with the suspension and braking capabilities now as from the purchase in January. I'm looking to do the 5 lug conversion to improve the brakes and to also utilize the 5 lug wheels I already have from the R. No need to buy 4 lug wheels when I can share with the R. But's a great deal and not the attention getter the older Si was. It's a fat pig too!
Thanks,
Victor

Did you have a point?
No one said it was a replacement or superior performer to the ITR.

it is no comparison to the itr. im deff alot harder on cars though since i have owned /built my nasty itr.
the EP doesnt handle that good to me , too loose and too much body roll
but it is a pimp daily driven car.

It has the potential to be a awsome track/autox car. Off the shelf it will not handle like a ITR due to weak rear sway and added weight etc etc. Believe me it will have mods to make it hold its own. It has the same chassis as the Ep3R. Very nice chassis indeed too. Plus if you like a car that is somewhat rare, there is also a bonus for you.
the tuners are doing incredible things with the ep and dc5
and thats what it comes down to. once the good stuff trickles into america we will see those models rival and surely pass the dc2 and ek.
until then...
oh yeah..porsche uses struts too!

This is why I got the Ep3. It looks filthy with some quality stuff. IMO
