HF slotted rotor's?
just swap over DX/Si brakes. you can find that **** pretty cheap. if your near seattle i will hook you up with some calipers for cheap...
btw: Si/DX calipers and rotors (you need to swap them both) will bolt up fine, no mods 'bolt on mod'

How about rear brakes? are the HF drums, wheel cylanders and shoes different from the Si/DX on them as well? I just found 89 Si shoes/wheel cylanders for real cheap and i'm gonna need them for my HF as well but i dunno if they will fit my HF rear. Thanks

OK i just got the calipers in the mail from a junk yard a few hours away for $55 shipped. Got a few questions though...
1) I only got the calipers from them, no mounting brackets or anything...just the caliper with piston in it. Is this all i need (besides Si/Dx rotors) to do the swap? Or did i get screwed and need to find some Si/Dx mounting brackets for the calipers.
2) The rubber surround on the piston is worn through in some spots. Is this bad? does the surround actually protect the brake fluid from leaking? I don't see any sings of leakage and assumed that the surround wasn't tight enough to actually provide a seal even if it wasn't damaged.
THANK YOU!
