Ouch. That stinks.

Why'd they bust out the rear window? Did you have a system back there?

Doesn't make sense to ruin so much stuff if they're (I assume) going to be selling the parts.

Good luck on the rebuild.

Here's to her being better than ever

Kind of a bittersweet deal.....good luck on the rebuild.
Most definatlely redo the alarm....Take down a side panel and hide it there.
There are ways to make it hard to be a drive-away.

IM If you want ideas..or any help. It sucks...( I had my roadrace bike stolen
earlier this spring....******* crashed it into a tree 2 blocks away) I feel your
pain

Let the rebuild begin.

That is a horiffic site to see. I only had my rear window bashed, and my cheapo alarm went off and scared them away.
I am very sorry to hear about this man. I know I will be getting the insurance to cover my car + mods soon. They even took the center reflector?
BTW good thing that other stuff wasn't in your car yet.
I guess it's too hard to track your stuff down, plus it seems the theives knew what they were doing.

I'm sorry

That's a shame. I wish the laws were like the old days. Ya get caught stealing, you get you F'n hand cut off. Let's see them turn a wrench with nubs!

I feel your pain! I couldn't even entertain the thought of my **** getting stolen. I get pissed off just thinking about it.

I DO however applaud you for making the effort to rebuild your baby. Just think, while the engine is out and ll that, you can tear it hte rest of the way down and have it 100% pristine and perfect as you slowly rebuild it. Not a single detail over looked. The perfect way.

I'm glad to see you got it back. Good Luck on a speedy rebuild.

these guys probably dont really even know him personally, just the fact that that they knew where he lived/worked...

And I can pretty safely say that they frequent Honda message boards.... as most swap thieves do. How else are they gonna know what you've got under there?

I wouldn't be surprised if someone on H-T itself knows what happened, or was involved.

Thats the risk we take when we post our setups, etc on a public site. I mean c'mon, if you were a swap thief, where ELSE would you look to find your next chop job...

On the build up you should put a kill switch to the fuel pump, cost under 10 bucks.

[QUOTE=95VXFRANK] Some people have told me to just get rid of it but I cant let go. This car has been my baby since the first time I laid eyes on her. And she will continue to be...

dude you are so right, my crx was rusted out and shitty when i got here, and everyone told me to get rid of her and buy something new and i told them all the same thing and now bang, i have a mint crx with b16a, and i did it all my self, its going to be frustrating, but worth it in the end, im proud of my accomplishments and if u can pull it off too

Good luck
