LS engine into a GSR body (tried searching!!)
I want to put my JRSC'd LS motor (its OBD2) into a 98 GSR chassis. What problems would I encounter?
Do I just swap the ECU's? Or is there some wiring changes that need to be made?
Please help me out if you know.

I'm thinking you should be fine with using the GSR harness. Leave the vtec related wires alone and use the LS ecu. Someone correct me if i'm wrong!

I'm pretty sure you're right... There will be some extra plugs such as VTEC solenoid, and secondary butterflies that won't plug in, but everything should run fine...

leave the vtec wires unplugged and use a LS ecu. one question though....why put a non vtec motor into a vtec car? i know it's charged and all but i'd put another gsr motor in it. but thats my opinion. good luck

That will run for about 10,000miles.

Ok well I am getting a good deal on a gsr shell. Right now I have a beat up 94 Ls that I dropped my JRSC motor an new tranny into. So I am gonna just swap the motor and tranny into this car cause its much cleaner and its cheap to do. When I get more money I would like to get a gsr swap or maybe go with an unreliable LS/VTEC
Do you think I could leave the LS engine harness and just plug it into the GSR chassis harness and then use the LS ecu? I just figured there would be wires that just won't go anywhere on the chassis harness, but all the neccessary wires would still be in the right place for the LS engine harness? If anyone has a clue hit me back, thanks
