Need Pads and rotors asap...any suggestions?
well its time for new pads and rotors but i dont know what to get or where to get them. Im looking at brembo cross and slotted rotors and project mu pads from jdmhondaparts. anyone have experience with these or know where i can get a better price? thanks
Don't bother with the cross/slotted Brembos. Just go with OEM spec solid Brembos. Do a search for Colletti Motorsports to find out more info. I've bought from them, and their service was great.

I've never heard of Project MU pads. If you want good street pads, I'd recommend either the Hawk HP+ or Porterfield R4S.

Just call up Steve of Colletti Motorsports for pricing. It'll depend on your application. I think I paid $26 each for fronts on a GSR. I got rears for $17 each at NOPI.
If you want the Hawk's, check for Carlex on this board. He'll hook you up with a good price.
If you want the Porterfields, check out this link:

(its just pronounced project mu)[/QUOTE]
Actually in the English language it would be spelled mu unless you have a greek symbol for mu on your keyboard (or font). mu is a lowercase greek letter that looks like a u in itlaics with a tail.

Thanks Shmeek,
Hawk HPS Fronts are $51 for an Integra
AEM rears are $40
I send customers to Collettti Motorsports for Rotors cause you can save so much more money going through him than me.

Go with Hawk HPS pads and Brembo OE rotors. That is your best bet.
I ordered from carlex as well as colletti motorsports and can attest to the great service of both.
Don't get cross-drilled or slotted. A waste of money for bad ricey looks and the (high) possability
of cracks or warpage.
