Clutch install results from attempt #1...
As a follow up to my last post, it didn't happen. I soaked the damn LCA in liquid wrench and went back to whacking it this morning with no luck. I probably would have put more effort into it, but a family issued popped up and took up a good couple hours. When I got back, I didn't have any time to finish, so I just put thing back together.
Some good things came out of my attempt... I realized that next time, I should just start with the LCA so that I don't waste as much time. Also, I got to put in fresh tranny fluid, flush/fill my radiator, rotate my tires, and find that one of my tires has a nail in it.
I will probably try again this weekend, but I will be lacking my dad's nice garage and all his tools since I probably won't be down in San Jose... but we'll see. Thanks for all your tips! Next time I certainly will be sure to have a puller on hand.

I might try again tomorrow night and just pull an all nighter. The car ports here have decent overhead lighting, and screw sleep... my cars worth it.
If I can't muster it up, I'm probably going to wait until Friday, and maybe ask a friend who already knows more about this stuff than me to help.

Ok.
First things first.
Weapons of choice:
Here you will see in the following order:
Funnel with hose
Sledge hammer(VERY important)
Ball joint separator. Big and thick
12pt sockets: 32mm 17mm and 10mm

Here is my tool for the shift linkage pin. 1/4 dive extension and torx bit.
Once this gets the pin going, use a long 12mm bolt to finish it off.

Use is as shown below:

Here is the PROPER way to use the fork:

Any other way will damage the boot.
Do not pry, just use the hammer and beat the fork in there until it separates the joint.
If you do not have this, use the SLEDGE HAMMER and hit the side of the control arm
right at the joint to release it. A regular hammer will most likely not have enough force.
To separate axles:
Hit driver side axle with said sledge hammer right at the joint OUTWARD to force
the axle off of the intermediate shaft.

Use a pry bar in the location shown and use an impacting motion to remove.

Important things to remember:
unplug all sensors, speed sensor is an easy one to forget.
do not PULL on axles. you will damage inboard joint
There are also more pics in taht directory http://sgt.b16a.com/images/clutch
if you want to take a look.
If there are any more questions, feel free to contact me.

HAHA SGT. You might want to take the 17mm castle nut off the LCA before you use the fork. J/K. You said proper way, thats why i said that.
Nice detailed pics btw. Also do not put the fork to close to the boot. It will tear right through it.
