Default rsx cross-over point?

can anyone tell me where an rsx vtec engages? i've tried searching with no luck.. thanx in advance.

The second stage is said to be somehwere around 5800 when accellerating and stays on till you drop to 5600

VTEC activates at 6000 rpm until redline, anything before 6000 is all-motor.
That is if you have a Type-S. A regular RSX is like what the guy said above around 5700

so just drop that down to like 4000-4500 and tune it with a wideband 02 with the VAFC 2. or you can just go hondata.

If you have a regular rsx, your in the same K20A3 as the Si... and vtec is over with at 2200 rpm, when you leave the super-low-emissions mode from what I've heard.

Read that hondata page, those guys dont have any reason to be wrong.

v-tec kicks in at around 5200 rpm, i read it on a spec sheet and tested the theory in mine, its more or less rite on the button

Well i get a slight nudge at 5800 so im pretty sure thats where it kicks in.
