Default ECU PROBLEM???

Just replaced my Knock Sensor, reset ecu and it is still throwing the code. I double checked the Hasport Vtec sub harness I have, everything is good. Can it be a bad ECU? Running a PR3. Please Help! Thanx...Later,

engine?? i'd say your best bet is to find a non-knock sensored ecu or get it chipped with a chip that has knock disabled, i can burn you the chip for like $4 when my chip burner gets here

With the PW0 if you place a 1K resistor between ground and the knock sensor input at the ECU (cut the wire at the ECU to be sure) then it wont throw a code for no knock sensor.

I'm having the same problem myself. 3 times I took my car for dyno-tuning, first there's knock sensor code, 2nd no code, then 2 weeks ago, code 23 is back. I even ran a separate wire from the knock sensor directly to the ecu, still no luck. btw, I'm running a pr3 w/ stage 2 hondata. To hopefully finally fix this, I'm in the process of replacing my hasport wire-harness with stock Si and rewire. The Hasport wiring looks really old and the wires crack everywhere. Then I'm converting to obd1 (have all pieces now except for obd1 distributor) and disable knock sensor. PR3/stage 2 hondata doesnt have a disable option for knock sensor. Anyway, sorry for the OT...I'll post the results before I convert to obd1 if I somehow fixed the problem by just rewiring.
