Car wont start after camshaft installation...HELP!!!
Thought i'd post here becuase this is where i usually post. We installed itr camshafts in my 99 b16 head. After we got everythig back together the car cranked but it wont start. I have no idea what is wrong. Any information will really really help.

How do you check the timing? Doesn't the motor have to be running thats when I have checked mine?

Yea, it sounds normal. I have no idea what to do?
How do you check the timing? Doesn't the motor have to be running thats when I have checked mine?

you're talking about the ignition timing....make sure the crank pulley is lined up correctly at TDC, so as the cams

ya i don't think ignition timing has much to do with it here, unless its 180' off, are you sure you put the intake(i think) cam in to where it rotates the dist in the right order? maybe you have it in 180' wrong. i would check the crank timing first though. make sure the #1 cyl is at TDC and then check that the camshaft sprokets are pointing to their corrisponding marks, if not rotate the engine again so that the #1 cyl is back at tdc as it might have been at BTDC before.
