I snapped a timing belt in my GSR. So I decided to removed the head to see the damage done. I found that my cams were scratched-up on the intake side(under the brackets, not the lobes), especially near the cam gear. The scratches were so deep they turned parts of the cam shaft silver. Is this due to low oil pressure? I heard clicking noises before hand. I replaced my oil pump, cleaned out the pickup, and made sure i always had enough oil. And still the oil light will not go out. I put 3000 miles on the motor and havent heard v-tec yet. Its actually a b16a1 head with a gsr bottom-end. Dont know what else to check for oil pressure. You help is appreciated
