okay just had an oil change maybe 2 weeks ago.. up on about 5000 kms... now it feels like there's no oil left in the engine... i check the oil and there's like only 1/3 left after 2 weeks of driving =*(

anyone know what's up with my d15b2?

btw was wondering if a d16a6 would be a decent motor for my 4dr or just go with ZC, heard there's sucky mileage on the ZCs =*( yeah i know i need to get an automatic ECU from an EX for the a6 and an auto 2g teg ECU

 

but i have an auto 4dr...

it doesn't smoke at all... some times i smell like burnt toast...

 

First try and find out where its leaking, gaskets are an easy fix. If its burning it and its your beater I'd go with whichever engine you can find the auto ecu for. Its hard finding auto EX ecus, so look around for a teg one. $500 for a zc longblock and wire your car for mpfi. Otherwise look for another d15b2.

 

the thing is.. there's like 8932473298 EX's up here in toronto.... almost every other 4dr is an EX but i'd have to look for a teg ECU...

+ i do a lot of downtown driving.. .i'd probably want to keep it auto just cause i don't know how to drive 5spd...

cars gonna get junked next summer... right now it's an a to b car... if it's burning oil.. i'll need to buy a cheap motor to put into it... i know an engine wholesaler.. hope he can get me a good deal on something nice

 

Just keep adding oil if you are just gonna junk it....
