Well we just installed a nitrious line through the fire wall. The wire for the knock had to come through that hole in the fire wall right be low the battery. This is on a 92 CX. Well when we ran the nitrious line through this hole we cranked the car up and the knock sensor came on do you think it needs to be tightened or is it mabe a faulty sensor? Has anyone had this problem before?

 

What do you mean by "the knock sensor came on"? The check engine light?

 

try tightening it up, making sure the plug's making a good connection, and that the insulation on the wires didn't wear anywhere from the install, on the sensor.
