HCP Engine mounts fitting question
I just installed the rear crossmember mount and it fits like ****
the urethane is right up against the firewall and there is a gap detween the mount and the metal....
anyone else have this problem???
is my mount or my crossmember screwed up or is this the way the kit is suposed to fit?.......thanks in advance.....

You might have to bend the front of the rear crossmember. It should say that in the instructions, if you got some. I have a pic of mine and it was sitting pretty close to the firewall. You put it in the right spot right? One hole over from the stock position....right?
I have done this swap before and yes it does sit very very close to the firewall, But as Doodoo said you may have to bend the front of that lip down and then it will sit flat on the arch of the rear crossmember. It is alot of fun getting that rear bolt tight to, much fun. Mine sits so very very close to the firewall but it works perfect, same in a few other crx's i have seen.
