why do you want to sand the paint off? are you gonna repaint or something?

jus put primer over the existing paint if youre wanting to repaint. other than that
i dont know why you wnat to sand that thing off. use paint remover i guess. easier.

oh wow...

Anywho, yes you will be able to removed the existing paint with one of those sanders. If you're going to repaint the car the same color, i suggest not sanding it off completely, just so the surface is rough, then you can clean it and re-paint over it.

If you are changing the color, sand as much off as you can (if its not 100% off its fine). fill in the dents, sand to make dents perfect, primer, paint.

i took auto collision classes and to let u in on something if u are planning to re paint ur car the best thing to do is just 400 grit wet sand ur car and grind those lil dents and fill them up and then sand them with 80 grit and then 180 grit sand paper
then u tape off and primer the dent spots..... in a factory paint job the sealer is the best thing ever so if ur sanding all of it off u will not have that factory sealer.... just the facts.. later
