you gain little HP and you gain more weight... yay! there was a thread on this just a lil bit ago....try looking in the first and second page of the accord forum... youll find it
i only found a thread about an h23 into an earlier year accord. if my car wasnt obd II, i wouldnt have a problem with it at all. but i need to wire an obd1 engine to an obd2 car, so im sorta concerned about the wirng.

EDIT: how do you go from a 150 horse engine(if you have an lx or ex) to a 160 horse engine and expect 50 horses? honestly... im talkin bout stock numbers here.
the most you can gain is about 25 horses if you own a dx

will they fit? from looking at the two engines, it looks like i am going to have to use the accord motor mounts on the h23, but many people are telling me that the driverside mount doesnt work. i guess the only way i am going to solve the problem is to just do it myself. i was hoping to learn from someone elses mistakes.
why does everyone ball on guys that want to add an h23 to their 6th gen...sure they are heavy, but it's what he wants to do...so instead of hating on him help him...
anyways, the block is obviously the exact same between the h22 and h23, so the same issues with putting in an h22 apply to the h23 block (in terms of the driverside motor mount)...everything else should just fit...in terms of the distributor, you will have to give us more info as to which distributor you plan on using...internal coil or external coil...and also, from which year...good luck bud

ok, thanks guys. when it comes to the distributor, thats the part that i know the least about. when you say internal or external coil, i either think you mean me getting an MSD ignition kit with the external coil, which i am not doing, or you mean that thing that sits at the end of the intake cam, opposite of the actual distributor.
the engine is from a 92 prelude si. h23a1. any more information about the distributor and coil is greatly appretiated, that should be the only thing i am hung up on. thanks again.
