i didnt want to post this in the cosmetic section because id only get ricerific responses. ive been looking for an aftermarket air dam (front bumper cover) and this is the only one that i could find that had what i wanted:



i wanted something that was very clean and didnt scream "IM A RICER!". it had to be urethane, cause i dont want any of that cheap fiberglass **** thats super brittle. it had to be able to use the stock corner lenses. i wanted a one piece unlike the stock air dam that has the lip, because the lip on mine keeps half falling off and the whole bumper cover is kinda beat up. i like the way that it doesnt have the slope from the bumper like the stock front bumper cover.

so, whats your opinion?

 

You don't need Honda-Techs approval to mod your car. If you like it get it man. personally I think it looks alright needs an intercooler though

 

for the love of teggy's dont do it. Having a bod kit is ricey by itself IMO

maybe itr, ww, or something that is just a lip.

 

That front end has soft, rolling, circular lines, a teg has hard lines. It doesnt go together, if your gonna get a kit, atleast get one that looks like it matches.

My thoughts exactly. I dont like it but if YOU like it then by all means get it.

 

too big.....ricer looking if you ask me. much better off if you just throw a nice lip on and call it a day. or go hop on the JDM bandwagon.

 

IMO i think it would look good with and intercooler and a dark color such as the blue in the pic...but mod your car for your own satisfaction...not anyone else's...b/c you will be the one driving it and not the people looking at it...

Asking a question like this will just end up with 90% of the responses being based on what ever is "cool" at the time.

 

its odd how i stated im only looking for a one piece, yet 4 people suggest the itr front end or a different lip. yeah, it would look good with an intercooler. too bad im planning on getting a jrsc. maybe a fluidyne radiator would look good. my cars tegs black, for the person who mentioned the dark color.

And no I don't think it will look good with a radiator.

Sorry to say but my honest opinion is no.

 

Look for a different kit. That doesnt go with the cars bodylines very well. Im sure there is one out there for ya.

Exactly. Not to mention this is what the A/C forum is for. If people in there will tell you its "rice", what makes you think the opinion will be different here?

It looks awful dude. Not rice, not clean, not "JDM"...no classificiation other than ugly.
