I have currently aquired a B18C1 99 GSR. Below is the parts that i'm currently pieceing together. My main concern is Road Race/AutoX:

- Stock Block
- Stock Compression
- Stock Intake

1. Toda Spec A
2. Toda Campulleys
3. Toda Valve Springs
4. Toda Oil Pump Gear (RR purposes)
5. Toda Timing Belt
6. Mugen Baffled Oil Pan

1. Hytech Complete Exhaust System

1. Apexi PFC
2. FPR

1. Mocal Oil Cooler
2. Mocal Thermostat

I am pretty sure about this setup. Could somebody tell me my projected WHP.

 

Get rid of Apexi. Get Hondata.

OBD1>OBD2 is just absolutely bogus, but i guess since it's not FI i'll save a grip. S100 sounds good and absolutely cheap, set it and leave, since I don't plan to tune it myself. On my original B18B FI setup I decided to do something else since the HONDATA setup cost as much as a complete standalone ECU. I guess I'll give HONDATA a call. Thanks

Consider youself lucky to break 180whp. I would not expect more on stock block with some spec A's.

 

do you recommend the B's then? I'm attempting to keep stock driveability and idle. I've also heard the B's kill your rocker arms. can you confirm this?

I am running Toda B's right now. So far no problems...Runs f*ckin great!!!

 

which gasket will yield me a higher compression?
