Default Corner Valve Cover Bolt Broke off

I searched previous posts and this sounds like a common occurance. My problem is that I broke this valve cover bolt off:

As I understand it, I just need to remove the valve cover and then somehow remove the bolt and get a replacement from Honda or Acura.

Does it just unscrew from the head?

Do I need a special tool to remove it?

most likely ur going to need a screw extractor to get the broken bolt out. What it is, is a drill bit which u drill into the center of the broken bolt then u insert the extractor into that hole and it should spin right out. To do this ur going to need to remove the valve cover most likely, then just go to a honda dealership and purchase a new bolt. Now if u stripped the thread out in the hole ur going to need to either tap it back out or buy a helicoil kit and rethread it.

I've done this before a few times. I imagine you just over tightened the valve cover crown nut and snapped off the threaded portion of the stud. All you need to remove the stud is a deep well 10mm socket. They come in 2 or 3 different lengths, so remember than when you go to the dealer. About $3 each...

I was actally trying to loosen it so I could move a grounding cable out of the way of a hoist chain I was attaching. Darn thing!
