i was running it. doesn't flow as well.
but throttle response was off the hooks. I woudlnt' recommend it for highly modified engines. I would rather have bought the mugen one. 800 is too steep for an intake.

Bling factor though =-)

you won't get as much power with it.

Comptech Icebox or Mugen, etc. will get your more power.

I get my info from searching the archives here a while back looking for dynos.

all you need to do is swap the ARC filters for k&n. works great on my 194whp motor

I'd say the J's Intake over the ARC but it's My Opinion.

I think the ARC is a waste of $$ being that the price is Soo steep and No benifits over less expensive units

Yep. However, I'd recommend the Mugen to anyone. Believe me, I've tried most out there too

Mugen. Agree with Jason.
Not proud of mentioning how many intakes I have had.

Tuned engine - mugen vs J's, stock, AEM, comptech - more power.
non tuned engine - mugen vs J's stock, AEM, comptech - more power.

i don't even know if the spoon filter with stock box proves much hp gain over a k&n filter. and to keep on the subject, the arc box does have good throttle response, but not even close to what you pay for it. nothing wrong with a AEM CAI or a comptech icebox if you're on a budget and want a decent intake.

Mugen Is very nice Unit and it is kinda Pricey, However it has a better design IMO
J's Racing= about 200 bux
ARC= about 400 bux
Mugen= About 600 bux
Now you can get the AEM CAI (Don't like it cause it the benifits don't compensate for the risk of engine damdge due to water) I don't Like the design of the AEM.
Honda Engineers built an efficient Intake system and they placed te Filter closer to the TB and lessened the bends on the system. Also they provided COLD AIR.
I think Comptech and Mugen are more efficient designs based on the stock design which is still a good design. IMO

Of the two choices you've presented, I'd pick the J's Racing.

For whatever it's worth to you, however, I am using the Comptech Icebox and don't have any plans to change.</TD></TR></TABLE>

And the Mugen Intake MAKES Power, roughly 8-10 peak and about 15 mid.
Compared to the ARC setup (Tested both parts, box and tube, and seperate with OEM Parts) and all it seemed to do was gain aprox 2-3hp and lose about 5ft/;bs of torque.

So I think its obvious which is better for the money.....

I can't tell you guys how many people talked trash about the Mugen Intake and how its "JDM Bling" etc etc. BUT then they tried it out and its the only intake they speak of

IMO Top 5 Intakes (1=Best)

1. Mugen
2. J's Racing
3. Comptech Icebox
4. AEM CAI
5. Comptech Drop In filter & Removed Resonator from Stock Air box
