First Autocross in the R
Today was my first autocross in the new ride, which i've been driving since wednesday. Needless to say, I didnt do all that hot do to unfamiliarity with the car. But my times went from high 55s to 52 flat, so I am happy with the improvement. The Type R is a wonderful car, and I can't wait to get it on real racetrack and use more than two gears 
Also, it was great that Keith, the former owner of my car came out to watch, and I also enjoyed meeting Jack and Jason, cool guys.

It's nice to see you are using your new ride. I hate to see people buy toys that they don't use. The R was made to go on the Track!

yeah, the auto-x was fun, but damn i need to get a little bit more room to let this thing run...
nice runs Rob- hate I had to leave, but I ended up staying longer than I was supposed to
Was fun to watch, I'll definately come out and watch another

Oh yes. I will race again. Oh yes.......
I had a blast, so VIR is definately in the works. Here's a pic of me crossing the finish line. You can't see it in the pic, but i had my Dale Earnheart 3 finger salute up

four actually, cause the guy asked me how many i had taken while i was waiting for my third, and i 'accidentally' said i'd taken one. oops, my bad

the bad thing is though, now i have all kinds of things i'd like to blow my money on, rollbar, harnesses, seats, wheels, the list goes on for miles.

Rob - Beth and I met up with the rest of the gang Saturday afternoon as well. I only got to see your first run though. Glad to see you're putting her to use - Lord knows Keith never did

I definately believe in the "driver is the best mod" school of thought. Which is why I am considering not going to NOPI in order to have a spot at a Drivers school at road atlanta in october. man, i can't decide which i want to do more!

actually I offered cash in the original NOPI thread [the one chris never updates]. but I wont be nit-picky, I at least now know where I fall in the feeding chain....
