taking off pulley.
I have a 95 accord and the crank pulley is deep inside the wheel's fender. Would u try to break the pulley's bolt from below the car (breaker bar sticks up from under) or get a 2 feet extension and break it with the breaker bar next to the fender on the outside??
If you do it from under the car up, how r u going to get enough leverage to break it? And if u use a 2 feet extension to break the bolt from the outside, can the long extension take it??

Can't remember if the Accords are the same, but most if not all H/As, require a special wrench (has a hexagon head to it) to hold the crank pulley in place as you loosen the bolt. Otherwise, the bolt might be difficult to take out and you will end up causing the motor to turn. You can rent this tool at any part stores that rent out tools.
I have a v6 accord btw. I can't see how i'm gonna get leverage by not using an extension. If I dn't use extension, my breaker bar would be inside my wheel fender and there is not a lot of space for leverage. Without an extension, I could attack the bolt from the bottom up but that's only if I have a car lift. Without a car lift, I would have to be on my back laying down to breaker the bolt.
