Who owns a blue/purple integra GS-R? It's a 98, and has 71k on it. Actually thinking about selling it, but if it's so rare that no one has one on the board, maybe i'll keep it. One of my friends told me it was supersonic blue, but i can see from other posts that the color name is probably different. Anyway, please reply if you have a purple GS-R like me, thanks.

Very rare! I have only seen one GSR that color. The car was actually for sale at a lot in New Mexico at an AFB there. When I first saw it I thought it was a custom paint job since I had never seen that color before. The owner let me check out the car and said the paint was stock. Someone needs to post a pic of one, especially one that's modified.

 

ive seen like 3 in real life, and a bunch on the forums

 

two of my friends have identical integra GSR's. Well if they were both stock. but, they thought they had supersonic blue pearl, but they later found out they are both sonic purple.

 

i thought the color of my 97 LS was pretty rare its called like 'Midnight Wine' or something its like a maroon color and ive only seen one other teg that color and it was some guy from Japan who posts on here

 

There is no Sonic purple...

Supersonic Blue, 98-99 GSRs only. Its not incredibly rare, but you'll see 15 red, 20 black, and 20 white GSRs before you see one SSBP probably.

Theres also Adriatic Blue Pearl on 97-? LS', and Voltage Blue Metallic, which is a lighter blue (awesome, awesome color). I believe VBM was only on LS' in the states, but in Canada they came GSRs as well. Correct me if Im wrong, Im not sure.

Which color is that? I thought that it was a custom color....

I'm going to look at a 98 SSBP GSR today, theres 2 other SSBP GSR's in my town but its still a rare color.

 

There is a purple color. I thought it was called Violet-something or Eggplant-whatever?

Canucks car is a custom "canuck blue" colour!!

98-99 are the only years ssbp came out. You probably have the only one in the country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Dark Violet is probably the rarest.

SSBP is next. SSBP was released in 98 as a "special" color to help promote the facelift (front and rear) given to Integras in '98.

It's blue/red. Acura used a multiple layer painted scheme on many of their vehicles.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure Dark violet is the name. can anyone confirm this?

 

i almost wish i had purchased the dark violet that was on the showroom floor when i bought my car. something about purple though......just wasn't doing it for me. oh well.....

The one with the JDM front is nice. I see SSB fairly often, but it is definately more rare than the other colors

And yep, the dark purple color above is "Dark Violet Pearl" I think it was only on 2000 GSRs?
