Default the turbo mini me is tuned.......sweet mother its quick

omg.......this car is freaking amazing. it seems that the project that started last summer, two engines ago and all the money i have made over the past year has finally paid off.

i just wanted to thank everyone on here that has helped me along the way.

its at least a high 13 second car if not quicker. i'll get some final install pictures up soon

awesome its great to hear that you managed to get it tuned properly.....is the motor running with a solid idle and not rich without ticking? if so your probably one of the first those mini me's seem hard to tune and turboed I doubt would make it any easier

when i say tuned i mean a vast improvement over the startup tune that i put in. she ticks, but that is either valves that need readjustment or LMA's (something like that, lost motion) but it runs great, i still have some mild tuning to do but i am really really happy.

so this ticking is a common problem with mini me's?

the ticking could be the injector pulse......i have some dsm 450's in there.

as for some numbers i am trying to get a program on my laptop that has data aquisition software, it data logs in real time. all of the ecu read outs including a/f ratio! this was free software and i believe it will work with any zdyne gold ecu. as soon as i get that running i will be able to put up some dyno #'s.

i am using a zdyne ecu and zdyne program to tune my computer. but i found a freeware program called ecucontrol that displays all of your engine readouts as well as data loging. its really nice and i am almost positive that it will work using the zdyne laptop cable.
