Default No Power and some the Zaino Kit = WOW.

Well, since the blackout which has effect Toronto, has put to an end what would be a normal Friday afternoon for me.... I thought to myself.... time to try some of the famous Zaino Brothers polish everyone raves about....

Well all I can say to my fellow R owners and any car owner for that matter..... This stuff is faaaaannnnnnntasic (No pun intended Edwin )

Started by washing the car with some Dawn liquid detergent to strip all the old wax, oils and grease.... then started applying one of two coats of the Zaino polish... The kit I purchased included the ZX accelerate which was helpful since; I only had to let the car dry 1.5 hours before reapplication. Before application of the polish and between the first and second coat I used the Zaino brothers clay to remove some containments such as carbon particals from the paint.

After the second coat I applied the after polish spray, z something, I forget the name.... anyhow, 5 hours later.... wow.... What a difference.... now let me say, I have used tons a different waxes, polishes and sealants on the market, however, the Zaino brothers product is by far and away the best....

Back when I cared about car appearances, I went through a LOT of different stuff, including high end exotic waxes. Zaino was easier to use, and had as good or better appearance.

Plus it lasts a long time too.

http://www.zainostore.com

Some local bike/domestic shops carry it...awesome, awesome stuff. The complete Zaino treatment is unparallelled...you just have to know how to use the stuff (less is more) and follow the entire procedure.

Zaino products are worth it. I washed and waxed my car using their car wash (Z7) and two kinds of waxes Z5 (swirl remover, etc.) and Z2 and it works very well.

Has anyone ever used both the Zaino and the Griots products (www.griotsgarage.com). I've been using Griot's products 3 stages of machine polishes, a fine hand polishes, and wax, and have been very happy with them, but am always open to anything better. Thanks, Ryan

I've used the Griot's stuff. Their wax isn't any better than the other high end stuff, and it's not any easier to use either.

As far as polishes go, 3M Imperial Hand Glaze and Meguiar's (I forget the name) were the best that I used.

I definitely agree about the Griot's Wax. Even with the orbital and wax removal bonnet it's a bitch to get off. Maybe I'll try some of the above.
