Default 5spd swap...... my tranny mount sits too high?

Hey guys, i finally had time to finish my 5spd swap in my accord. I have only one problem. My tranny mount on my tranny sits a little bit too low and it causes my motor is sit high on the pass. side. I have a 97 accord with a 93 tranny. thanks

me

i did buy the 93 welded part for the 5spd and the 97 welded part for the 5spd neither looks like it will work. also, I only need to space it about 1 1/2 inchs lower to get the motor to sit right..... any suggestions?

thanks

ok, when i did my swap, i have a 95 accord w/ 96 tranny.

i used a 5th gen tranny mount and bracket from an accord, for 5sp.... you need to have the front and rear mounts be 5sp mounts as well for it all to sit right, and im sure the driver side wouldnt hurt either, but its an expensive liquid filled one... just stick some washerd bn the mount bracket and the tranny to hve the motor/tranny to sit lower in the bay. i just thought of that now, and i might try that one day, but i havenmt had any other axle problems or anyhting like that.

what is the tranny mount? a 93?

the tranny mount is the one bolted to the tran. It may differ from 4 to 5g.

it does differ from gens... u CAN use the BRACKET only from a 4th gen prelude, its the same part number, but get the actual mount for yur year accord.

seems like it would just be easier to trade it in for a 5 speed.
