I dont understand some of you guys. You have all that time and money invested in your cars. And then you pop the damn hood and wala a pile of **** emerges because you did a half *** paint job and left underneath the hood ******* stock original color. What the ****

I left my engine bay unpainted... but it is black... like my block, head, intake manifold etc...

Thats What Im sayin!!! It's not much more trouble to do it.

Other than that I like it

 

Well no complaints if it is free but if he can afford 800 for a Mugen Valve Cover then he should at least try to make it look like they did it right and have them do the engine bay too. Shouldnt be more then a few hundred dollars.

It could be a knock off $150 valve cover from tenzo.... ever thought of that?

 

Not bashing on the car because it is a sick car. But when you pop the hood it is just like a Super model with fucked up teeth. DAMN

 

Ya I thought of that but that car has a lot of bling. Carbon Fiber door panels and if he is gonna spend the money on that just ASSUMED ( and I know that is the mother of all ****-ups) that he would get the real Mugen Valve Cover. I just think it would look a thousand times better with the under side of the hood matching the outside. Just My .02 cents

At least under the hood wasnt some total unmatched color like teal or blue!

 

does my engine bay look okay??? I don't like the unpainted look either, but didn't swap the motor at the time that I got it painted.....

You guys bitch alot. Maybe getting the engine bay painted is on his "to do list." By the looks of it, I would say that he spent his money in a better way than getting his engine bay painted.

black is the ONLY color thats ok to leave unpainted. IMO.

 

car is bad ***, looks fine to me, i just dont like the cf dorrs to much. everything else clean... who cares what color the hood is underneath, its not like he's gonna drive with his hood open.

Where did he get the CF door panels?
I have been looking for some. The CF looks better than aluminum.

edit: i was looking over the pictures, and DAMN that car is clean.

 

I could care less about CF this, mugen that, and unpainted this. Can you give some specs on your setup? Dyno numbers, e.t.s, etc? The setup looks clean.
