went to dyno today
i went to the dyno today to finally get my new set-up tuned i made 193 hp at 8700 rpm and 130 ft. lbs. of torque at 5800 rpm
i got a jdm b18c (gsr spec)
port and polished head, milled 30 thousandths
s2 high compression valves
s2 valve train
s2 stage 2 cams
s2 intake manifold
itr throttle body
comptech intake
headertech headers
hondata s200
rc 270 injectors
msd 6a
itr flywheel
ctr crank pulley
the last time i dynoed my car i had s2 stage one cams, stock gsr flywheel, and jdm 4-1 headers and no hondata and i made 188 hp at 8200 rpm and 137 ft lbs. of torque at 5700.
i did goto different dynos this time and the temperature was differnt but at most it was like 15 degrees warmer with my new set up, also the first time i dynoed open header and this time with full exhaust.
what else could explain for the minimal gains and LOSS of torque, mind you i added stage 2 cams, headertechs w\ merge collecter, hondata, and lighter flywheel and ctr n1 crank pulley. the only thing i am really worried about is the loss of torque, becasue the hp numbers have too many variables and seem close to right because the excess heat, closed pipeing, and the fact that everyone i know dynos at less hp at this dyno than at the first place i went, seem to implicate that i made around the right amount of hp, but why such shitty torque.

i think hes got enough compression for stage 2s. with head milled .030 and high comp valves hes at 11.5:1 or a little higher. I think theres too many variables to explain the tq loss
