its been doing it ever since i got the car running.. its whenever i take the cap off.. its just sits there and turns over but doesnt start, after about 5 tries it starts right up and runs like normal.

how can i solve this prob. some kind of pressure is being relieved.. but where?

I'm guessing your timing might be too advance.

 

fuel pressure problem?

 

well its a built 2.0L motor... fuel psi was at 57, but now putting at 50.. ill check the timing when i get a light.

 

Check your EVAP. Had the same problem. Unhooked it and it worked fine.
