that setup in the right car like a crx with 1000's some good shocks. gutted to all hell, and some good slicks is way capable of low 12's 12.0 at best

Hmmm that's tough. I guess it depends on how lucky you are. I'm guessing the pistons will smack the valves by the 60' mark off the launch. That is if they don't right off the start up and drive to the track.

did all of you guys get dropped off by the short bus? Do you actually think im the first person in the world to attempt to put ctr pistons in a motor with a milled head? no i don't think i am so you all can relax and keep building your motors with P30 pistons and wonder why you can't break into the 12's

i know you can run ctr pistons with a 2 layer head gasket and itr cams in a b16/itr head

but not sure if you have bigger cams. you might not have that much play with the cam gears available. be safe and clay the motor for valve clearances. if you have Ti. valves, then it will be an expenisive fix if you bend a valve

haha, good one!

is it worth it to try and make more power/be faster if it may break and cause more downtime or damage??

claying the motor for clearance would be the thing to do.

i am running an OEM Honda LS head gasket and i am keeping the cam gears at zero/zero for now. the motor will be clayed and what not, so keep thinking that its gonna blow up when in all reality its just gonna bone the fu*k out.

Im not trying to be some *** hole, but im sick of going on this site and reading posts from people who think they have all the knowledge and wisdom of hondas.
im not some moron who is just going to throw some ctr pistons in a block then just slap the milled gsr head on and start it up. i just asked for estimates on what the motor will be capable of. im guessing between 200-215 hp with around 130-140 tq as for the times, who can really say but just from my experience and what not i would say mid to low 12's. i apologise for coming off as an *** but their are alot of people on this site who don't know their *** from a hole in the ground.
