Pics of dyno
Car was tuned at Jotech in Garland
This does not look good.
01 ITR
DC JDM 4-1 header
AEM cai
B&M fpr
Skunk 2 springs & retainers
Skunk 2 stage II cams
Skunk 2 cam gears
Apexi vafc
This was with 4 hrs of tuning.
What do I need to buy to take smooth it out and more power?

Torque is all over the place. Were the cam gears adjusted at all? I would say 0 out the cam gears, and tune the fuel to get the torque curve smoothed out. then maybe mess around with VTEC a bit. then start adjusting the cams and add or take away fuel to see how what the cams like best.

16 pulls in 4 hours? wtf?
do you have the a/f plots? was a wide band sensor used?
do you have the base line plots?

I think that the graph that you have posted there has the smoothing turned off, that is why you have some jumpiness in there. Overall though, I think that you could have found a little bit more consistency with some cam tuning and a non-stock exhaust. Just the bottleneck at the 2.5in header to the 2.25in cat should be more than enough to throw some things off.
Your power output looks about correct...
the problem is your compression is too low. if you want to jump up in power, your going to have to raise your static ratio. mill the head, use a 2-layer gasket, or larger domes...
then you will see a greater power output with those cams...

Like said before, compression is your biggest and exhaust flow is your biggest enemy at this point. A 2.5" setup, along with at least a thinner headgasket should get you another 10whp with proper tuning. The AEM CAI might be a choke point also, I havn't heard many good things about CAI's and big cams in our motors.

hmm those numbers arent to bad, but they sure could be higher. a friend of a friend has an LS/VTEC with CTR pistons and skunk2 stage 2 cams, valve train, jdm 4-1 header and short ram intake and he made 207. and with a cai he made 211whp
Torque is wayyy low
I made 174.5@8000rpm and 129.8@5200 with stock cams and a dc JDM 4-1/AEM shorty ram and vafc, Toda Cam gears, 58psi WOT , 00 ITR motor and small 2.25" exhaust
I think those cams were 0'd wrong or the loss of static compression did a serious job on power output. Something is amiss after 4hours of tuning and making about stock/bolt-on ITR power

All motor your going to need to up the comp....only way. My car made 194whp and 130lbs of tq with my old all motor set up:
Toda cams
Toda cam gears
Toda springs
Spoon header/test pipe
Spoon head gasket
AEM CAI
B&M FPR
VAFC
This was also tuned by Jotech...

Why did you only bring it up to 8500 rpm?
The stage 1's make power up to that number. You would have seen a higher peak and larger numbers if you kept it going, although peak numbers mean F all for a good dynoplot.
Unless I am missing something here?

If you look at the graphs, his peak power is around 8. Going much beyond that is only hurting himself, not gaining.
With proper cam gear tuning, and sufficient exhaust flow, he should see peak power aound 8500 like you said, but he has a huge bottleneck with his exhaust, and it looks like there was no attempt at any camgear tuning.

What do you expect without basic mods like a free flowing exhaust system ?
Quantity and velocity of the waste carried through the exhaust have to be optimized...
That`s another example for engine modding without optimizing the stock power output before... It`s better to see what your stock b18 can do if you free it from all the restrictions before you dare to cam-mod it.
It`s like a crowd of people trying to get through the same door at the same time. Better make that door bigger before you call for more people.
