Okay so the RSB got some new rims yesterday Rota Circuit 8 aka Mugen MF 8.....

But when i was getting them i noticed these other ones but i dont know if they are new or what ever but i liked that they had some texture to it and they looked more authentic

Okay so notice the diffrence? Anyways the rubber gets mounted today so ill take more pics later on....

PS. I will not be putting the MOOOGEN center cap cuz there not mugens

 

I'm confused. Are both of the pics of C8's? If so, why is one textured between the spokes?

 

yeah looks like the ones ya bought are the fake rotas...the bottom ones look like the real rotas...but then again i could be wrong

I dunno, but the one you got has an embosed center cap hole and Rota C8 below has a flat one.. Take some more good pics of the rims that you bought.. Btw, you stole that pic from me, that's mine.. Hahahah, it's cool you can use it..

i think the ones you ordered were 15's and the ones that you posted were 16's....

 

The second pic looks more like the real MF8

 

its the design, they are very similar but different in small aspects. the gap between the rims is deeper and bigger in mugens. rota is smaller yet wider

did that person just paint the center cap, rims look good rota's if for those who dont wanna pay alot of money for the real deal like me.

It's come to my attention that the 16" rota C8s look a lot more like the real deals. I had this discussion with my friend day before yesterday lol. Same goes for Group Ns if I'm not mistaken.

i dont think the group n's ever came in 16's

but yeah the 15in c8's look alot different then the 16's, the 16's actually look like mugens besides the finish

Um i didnt order anything...I got them picked up and yes they are 15" rotas....

Mine look like the 2nd pic.

 

rota actually released another version of the C8 with a finish that looks very very very similar to the forged MF8. the paint is flat bronze with a shiny spoke and lip just like the real finish.


almost fooled me.
