Hi, just wondering if the WW RS kit ( I think) for the DC2 is the knocked off of the Mugen's?? I know that the side skirts are alike, but what about the front lip?

acutally i think mugen got it off WW. Those WW side skirts have been around forever.

 

I'm pretty sure WW got it off Mugen. Those side skirts have been around forever though.

From what I've heard, the Mugen side skirts are a little "smaller" or less "chunky" than the WW replicas. The front lip is basically the same but a few things are different.

 

can't remember exactly how the front lips look but i thought they were different.
The side skirts are VERY similar only the Mugen's go over the stock skirts while the WW replace them.

 

can anyone post pics of the two kits. please?

I have a genuine Mugen kit on my integra, i think that Mugen developed the kit very shortly after the DC2 integra was introduced in Japan, so its probably safe to assume that WW copied the mugen kit. heres a few pictures, someone else can post a WW kitted one for comparison. the kit includes the rear wing that WW also copied.

mugen didn't make a front lip for the 98-01 usdm front. so wing west wasn't able to copy anything for that one. they made some other lip that doesn't really look too great. and whoever thinks that mugen copied ww...

Yea are you absolutely sure? I'm not 100% positive but i was pretty sure they replaced them. hadboosttroy, how did your WW sides go on??

 

mine went over the stock skirts. im pretty sure all ww do.

oh ok, guess i was wrong on me

 

this is mine...the instructions say to place the ww skirts over the stocks.

 

God, I think the WW/Mugen skirts would look so much better if they didn't have that "twist" in them.
