man, I was just about to post this. If I bougth this car..I dont know if I would drive or let it sit. I mean..dang..its like that 3 year streak of no driving would be ruined and..seeing that 71 miles go away.
WTH am I talking about..that car was meant to be driven and beatin the **** out of!

actually that is one car you could turn into a profitable investment, if you kept that car in that condition for another 7-10 years it would be worth a lot of money with only 71 original miles...
What a waste of such a lovely car.... only 71 miles in 3 years, why did he bother buying it in the first place?!

Either way, I'm sure it'll be a nice buy for someone.... although you'd want to ensure that the car has been stored properly and parts not deteriorated from lack of use!!

I think I know this Car. I think he Bought two originally and let one Set. Could this be the same car? Or is this another Low Milage Black ITR?
If I were finished paying for the Yellow one I'd get this one too. LOL
My goal is to have 3. A Black one, a Yellow one and a White one. Well that's for starters. Why couldn't this have happened 6 months from now???

How much do you guys think this car will be worth in 20 years?
I was watching I think it was classic garage last night, and they were talking about some limited production car that came with a hemi. They said it was worth $600,000!!!

I think good Type-Rs will be worth a good chunk.
"Good":
-All OEM parts
-USDM front end
-original engine
-normal wear and tear, low miles
-no accidents
-original paint
This of course would make most of our Rs not as valuable, including mine. Even the JDM showpieces we all know and love will be less valuable plain-jane ITRs that don't even get a second look now.
Given how rare they were in the first place, and how many have been stolen/wrecked/recovered/rebuilt/JDM-fronted, it's going to get harder and harder to find something like what I described.
I don't think the ITR will be any different than the performance cars now on the show cicruits and classic markets.

but to own it three years , and only 71 miles ...i bet its never seen Vtec ....
someone needs to go pop that cherry

I would agree about the "good" ITR's being worth alot of money in 10 years. That's one of the reasons i'm keeping all my OEM parts, cause maybe in 10-20 years i might just want to convert it back to stock. The '97's especially will fetch lots of money since they're so rare. The problem with mine is i can't keep from driving it so there's peobably gonna be like 2-300 thousand kilometres on it in 10-20 years, so it won't be worth too much, but it will still turn heads and win awards at old car shows. I wish i had the money to buy the black one as an investment, put a thousand or two kilometres on it per year and drive the **** outta my '97. Oh well maybe someday i'll be rich and be able to afford a really low-milage one in that 10-20 year span.
