I'm about to buy Jackson Racing Headers....is there anyway of getting that CEL not to come on?....is it true wrapping foil around the O2 will make it go away?...Becuase i'm not sure if i want to buy it....becuase i don't want to see my CEL on all the time.....i was just wondering...if there anyway of really just getting rid of the CEL w/out loosing power.....thanks

get an o2 simulator....the foil trick is temporary...after awhile your just gonna have to redo the foil. Certain check engine lights dont cause your car to go into limp mode. Im not positive but im pretty sure the o2 cel wont hurt the performance of your vehicle

im getting the jr header pretty soon.....from what i heard, if you connect a cat (high flow cat) to the header the cel won't throw, i dont know this for a fact....but i know a guy that has done it on clubrsx. ill try to keep you posted on how my header goes with the cat when i get it...

Sorry for the stupid question but im curious when you get the race header how bad will emissions be without the cat on there? Will it effect gas mileage?

you wont lose power if you connect a hi flow cat to the jr header....you will not make as much hp possible.
and no you will not pass emission without a cat. unless you got a hook up somewhere.
