What do mean by kit?
I never heard of an egine rebuild kit. You take engine apart you see whats bad you replace it. Why would you need a kit?
I'm not trying to be a smart *** BTW. LOL

I will admit that I am not a professional mechanic, so I could be wrong
about this, (wouldn't be the 1st time. LOL) But I have never heard of an "Entire Engine Rebuild kit". Of the couple of engines I have rebuilt in my life all I did was find out what needed to be replaced and replaced it. Mix and match. LOL
Had the crank cut or whatever
Block bored and honed
Pistons and rings and rods
Bearings
Gasket sets
Rebuild kits are usually made for simple assemblies that commonly go bad, or wear out, IE Brake boosters, calipers, synchros, those sorts of things.

I said I could be wrong. I've never seen 'em. LOL
And I've still never seen one for any honda engine.
But, that doesn't mean they don't make them. LOL

Yup, a guy I work with ordered one for his escort, like $400 for rods, pistons, gaskets, and some other stuff. Yet I've never seen or even heard of one for imports or more specifically, Hondas.
